In the chase after reducing the energy consumption in lighting, at the moment, the LED- based light is the big winner.
Compared with efficient lighting that has been used before (Fluorescent and other Gas lamps), the LED bulbs can burn for hours, have cost –effective power consumption and by that are also low in maintenance.
